The Columbus Transportation and Pedestrian Commission is established under Chapter 2103 of the Columbus City Code as an advisory body to the public service director and city council in matters related to: transportation; bicycle and pedestrian safety; parking and stop-sign, traffic control, and speed-limit policies.

Meetings are open to the public and typically held the second Tuesday of every month at 5:00 p.m.
