Appointed as the City of Columbus’ first Homeless Advocate, Jones is responsible for creating and maintaining productive collaborations with the region’s non-profit, private sector and religious communities that assist and support Columbus’ impoverished and homeless population. Additionally, Jones is leading Mayor Michael Coleman’s significant South Side neighborhood Collaboration comprised of residents, local businesses, non-profit and community foundation stakeholders.
A Columbus native, Jones has more than two decades of experience in public affairs, community and constituent relations, and strategy development.
