Robbie Williams: No Take That Tour With Baby

The singer reveals his wife is expecting their second child but says the new arrival will stop him reuniting with his old group.

Robbie Williams has ruled out joining his former band Take That on tour

Robbie Williams has said he will not be joining Take That on any future tour after revealing he is to become a father again.

The singer announced his wife Ayda was pregnant for the second time while he was on his European tour.

He tweeted: "Ayda and I are delighted to announce that Theodora Rose Williams is going to be a big sister. RW xxx"

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the star said his wife's pregnancy and his gruelling schedule meant he had decided not to reunite with his former bandmates.

He said: "Logistically, I can't do it. I have the tour and I'm going to be a dad again."

Williams is currently in the middle of a 41-date tour of Europe, which will take him to several venues in the UK.

He also plans to travel to Australia, where he will play a further eight shows.

The Swings Both Ways tour showcases his album of the same name, which features cover versions and original material sung in his now-trademark swing jazz style.

Take That are yet to announce any upcoming tour dates but there is feverish speculation among fans they may be planning a string of gigs in 2015.

Gary Barlow toured recently but is not expected to return to The X Factor, after announcing live on air he was quitting the show.
