Album: Adrenalize – Def Leppard

Adrenalize was the second consecutive #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for British rockers Def Leppard. The band’s fifth studio album spent two weeks at the top of the chart in April 1992. It was the follow-up to the band’s 1987 album Hysteria, which spent three straight weeks at #1 in mid-1989.

Adrenalize featured the singles ‘Let's Get Rocked’ (#6 Apr. ’92), ‘Make Love Like A Man’ (#22 Jul. ’92) and ‘Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad’ (#44 Oct. ’92). It has received a Platinum accreditation.

Def Leppard last charted with the album X (#49 Aug. ’02).

Single: Under The Bridge – Red Hot Chili Peppers

The first, and to date, only #1 single for the Red Hot Chili Peppers came in 1992 when ‘Under The Bridge’ hit the top of the ARIA Charts. Coming from the first of the band’s five chart-topping album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik (#1Apr. ’92), the single spent four straight weeks at #1. It went on to receive a Platinum accreditation and reach #9 on the 1992 ARIA End Of Year Singles Chart.

Red Hot Chili Peppers last charted with the single ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’ (#41 Sept. ’11).
