Join me for the Cato Summer University at Rancho Bernardo

This summer I will be lecturing at the annual Cato University, which this year returns to the gorgeous Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego and runs from July 27 – August 1, 2014 .

  • On Tuesday, July 29th, I will be speaking on “Why the Declaration of Independence Was Right: Demystifying Natural Rights”
  • On Wednesday, July 30th, my topic will be “The Modesty of ‘Radical’ Libertarianism”
  • On Thursday, July 31st, I will describe “Our Republican Constitution: Why Popular Sovereignty Requires the Judicial Protection of Human Rights”

It is a great line up of speakers including Prof. Jeffrey Miron, Harvard University, Prof. Robert McDonald, United States Military Academy at West Point, Prof. Erik Gartzke, University of California at San Diego, Ms. Louise Bennetts, Cato Institute and Dr. Tom G. Palmer, Cato Institute. And I find the participants are an engaged and convivial mix of liberty-loving persons of all ages.
