Eight Ukrainians make Forbes magazine's list of world billionaires

Owning the Shakhtar Donetsk football club is one of the interests of the world's 39th richest man, Rinat Akhmetov, whose $16 billion net worth is almost four times that of the next Ukrainian on the list, Victor Pinchuk.
The latest Forbes ranking of billionaires puts eight Ukrainians on the list of the elite richest. The magazine counted 1,226 billionaires in the world, led by Mexico’s Carlos Slim with an estimated net worth of $69 billion.
