St. Owains Church
St. Owains Church has a regular congregation each Sunday and various special services throughout the year. Plans are ongoing for wheelchair access to the church. The present church was built in 1867 to replace one that had existed since the 13th century. It has a 17th century bell that was one of the first cast at Chepstow’s bell factory.
St Owains Church, Ystradowen is part of the Cowbridge Rectorial Benefice. There are eleven churches in the Benefice (or Parish).
