Paris Saint-Germain is the Champion of the French Ligue 1 football league and Huawei is a partner of the French Football Club. Recently, the Chinese company unveiled its latest flagship – Huawei Ascend P7 in Paris. Well. Huawei has a better idea to promote the Ascend P7 in the French market.

Paris Saint-Germain, aka PSG claimed the Ligue 1 title a few ago and it was the second consecutive national football league title for the Paris based football club. Players celebrated in the dressing after they claimed the title and they took a selfie with the Huawei Ascend P7.

It is pretty sure that the selfie act is one of the marketing strategies of Huawei in order to boost the popularity of its Ascend P7. Blaise Matuidi, Alex, Thiago Motta and Ezequiel Lavezzi were among the players that took the selfie with Huawei Ascend P7. We also spotted that the Huawei logo is on the home page of Paris St Germain’s website.

In April 2014, Huawei became an Official Partner of Paris St Germain Football Club for the next three seasons. Huawei will provide the the latest smartphones and hand-held devices to the playears and employees within the football club.

The Huawei Ascend P7 was introduced about a week ago. It features a 5-inch FHD display, a Hisilicon Kirin 910T quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, MicroSD slot, a 13-megapixel main camera (Yes!), an 8-megapixel front-facing camera (Yes!) and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

We have found out that the Huawei Ascend P7 in China has two multi-purpose SIM trays. You can put two SIM cards at the same time for the dual-SIM mode, or put a SIM card alongside a MicroSD for storage expansion. This feature only works on the Huawei Ascend P7 WCDMA in China. However, Huawei did not mention whether the international version will come with such feature.
