Olivier Dahan, director of "
Grace of Monaco,"
made headlines last fall when he blasted The Weinstein Company chairman Harvey Weinstein for unnecessarily delaying his film's release. Now, Weinstein has
pulled "Grace" from the company's release schedule entirely.
The movie, a biopic of Grace Kelly starring Nicole Kidman, was originally slated for a November 2013 release, before being shuffled to March 14. Weinstein and Dahan's reasoning for that shift vary wildly, with Weinstein claiming that the movie wasn't finished, and Dahan claiming that Weinstein wanted him to make edits which the director deemed "pile of sh*t" and "catastrophic."

The Hollywood Reporter that Dahan has yet to deliver the finished film to Weinstein, which the company claims has impeded the marketing of the movie. The film was subsequently pulled from the studio's schedule, and no new release date has been announced.
THR reports that "Weinstein gave Dahan notes, but that Weinstein has no creative control over the project and cannot make cuts to the film."
In October, Dahan told a French newspaper that he was determined the release "my version of the film and not that of somebody else."
At this point, it will be a miracle if "Grace" gets any sort of release at all.
