Exciting England youth international who has come through our Academy ranks and played for the first team aged just 16.

After being spotted by our scouting network, he joined our Academy as a youngster and had been with us for a number of years before signing full time in the summer of 2010, decling interest from a number of clubs to put pen to paper at Madejski Stadium.

Within weeks of becoming a full time scholar, he was in the squad for our League Cup game at Torquay and came off the bench in extra time.

Sparkled in pre-season ahead of the 2011/12 campaign, showing good form in the tour of Slovenia and scored a eye-catching left footed strike in a 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers.

Such performances earned the winger a place on the bench for the opening fixtures of the campaign - and he eventually made his first team debut by starting our Carling Cup first round clash with Charlton.

He spent the majority of the 2011/12 season on loan at Barnet and Gillingham, scoring three times for the Gills.

Joined Portsmouth on loan in August 2012 and scored on his debut away at Colchester, before playing for Oldham on loan - where he scored against Everton in the FA Cup fifth round.

Played for the first team in September 2013, coming off the bench in the Royals' Challenge Match with Oman. Click here to watch Jordan's best bits from that game.

Made his first league start for the Royals in a 3-1 Championship victory away at Derby County, and then made substitute appearances against Birmingham and Burnley in the next two weeks.

Scored his first ever Reading goal in November 2013, when he struck the winner in a 3-2 victory for the Royals away at Nottingham Forest.

Signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal the following month, before showing his capabilities at left-back over a long string of games in 2014.

After establishing himself as a key member of the first team, he clinched the Player of the Season award for 2013/14 and was then named in Gareth Southgate's final England under-21 squad of the season, for a Euro qualifier in Wales and the Toulon Tournament in France in May 2014.
