Dorian Dervite will join Bolton Wanderers when his current contract at The Valley expires at the end of June, both clubs announced on Tuesday morning.

The central defender signed for Charlton in August 2012 and went on to make 75 appearances for the Addicks scoring five goals.

Dervite had received the offer of a contract extension from Charlton, but opted instead to pen a three-year deal with the Trotters.

The former Tottenham Hotspur man’s Addicks goals were often memorable ones, with his first being a long range drive against Leeds United during the 2012/13 season.

He also scored against future club Bolton at The Valley that season before notching in 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Dervite became a regular in the side towards the end of the 2013/14 season under José Riga and scored headed goals in the home wins over AFC Bournemouth and Yeovil Town.
