Data from April 2011 to September 2013 were extracted from the Incident Recording System (IRS) in December 2013.
Data from April 2010 to March 2011 were extracted from IRS in May 2012.
Data from April 2009 to March 2010 were extracted from IRS in May 2011.
Data prior to April 2009 were collected via the paper forms, FDR1 and FDR3. Numbers of fires prior to April 2009 are based on a sampled database.
