David Olney is one of the early pioneers of what's known as Americana Music. His songs have been recorded by great artists like Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Del McCoury, Tim O'Brien, Ann Rabson and Lonnie Brooks to name a few. He has released more than 20 albums over four decades, including six live recordings. Accompanied by Sergio Webb, the duo creates a live experience that is beyond description and at the same time tremendously memorable. Not every young Canadian singer-songwriter gets to launch her CD with a live appearance on the US satellite station Sirius XM. The show was hosted by Dave Marsh, author of more than 25 books on rock and roll and known as
the “dean of American rock writers” who admits to being her biggest fan.

But that’s how 21 year-old Ariana Gillis, from the wine growing region in Niagara, Ontario began to premiere her second album, “Forget Me Not”.

David Marsh played the track, “John and the Monster” to his radio audience — one response was a phone call from an enthusiastic listener who wanted to know more about the unusual song, and the singer. The mystery caller was
Elton John’s lyricist and songwriting partner Bernie Taupin. Later, Taupin spoke publicly on his own Sirius Radio show: “I’m staggered by how good she is. There is not much that impresses me these days but after hearing her tracks I can honestly say she’s the single most exciting thing I’ve heard in a very long time.”

Forget Me Not, is not unlike her first CD, To Make It Make Sense – a collection of Ariana’s original songs. “Original” not only indicates that she wrote or co-wrote all the songs, but that the subjects are unusual. Not many artists (regardless of their age) write songs about creatures in a lake with healing powers, people in adjacent graves chatting with each other, the annual slaughter of dolphins in a cove in Japan, or young sailors forced to walk the plank.

Ariana has been touring extensively, opening shows for Shawn Colvin, performing on the NPR nationally syndicated show, Etown, playing at several festivals and recently taking a residency at the Living Room in New York City.

Chosen as Young Performer of the Year at the 2009 Canadian Folk Music Awards, she is fulfilling the promise many people have seen since she put out her first EP when she was 17.

Jesse Clegg is a South African alternative rock artist whose 2008 debut album, When I Wake Up, and his 2011 follow up, Life On Mars, have both made the 24-year-old a platinum-selling success in his home country. This is a considerable feat in a place where the rock genre makes up only a small minority of the market.

After the widespread acclaim of his first album, Jesse's music caught the attention of 3-time Grammy-winning Canadian producer David Bottrill (Muse, Tool, Placebo). Jesse subsequently moved to Toronto for 4 months to work with Bottrill who produced his 2nd album in its entirety. Another notable contributor was Grammy award-winning engineer Bob Ludwig who mastered the album in New York. Entitled Life on Mars the album embodies a substantial musical leap forward for Jesse and showcases some of the more experimental moments of his songwriting.

Jesse has achieved much in the 5 short years he has been active. He has released 4 Top 10 singles, toured extensively throughout South Africa, playing the biggest festivals in the country, and has performed abroad in both North America and Europe. As an official ambassador for the Nelson Mandela 46664 foundation, Jesse was invited to play at Radio City Music Hall in New York alongside the likes of Stevie Wonder, Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and many others. He has been nominated for three South African Music Awards over the course of his career.

In January 2013, Jesse returns to North America to continue on his musical journey in a new territory. The rights to both albums, including master- recordings and publishing, belong to the artist and remain available for International release.
