Green Juice Recipes

Last season we hosted our first Free 30 Day Juice Challenge with great success. Thousands of you joined along as we juiced each day for 30 days. The challenge is not a fast. You will simply be adding in at least one glass of juice to your current diet. You’re free to eat whatever you want, however, a whole foods diet is recommended over heavily processed and fried foods. The juice recipes created for this challenge will offer many health benefits, including weight loss,  anti-inflammation, increased energy and a natural boost to immunity. The recipes below are from our the first challenge.  We’ll be kicking off our next challenge very soon, be sure to join our newsletter to be notified once the challenge is scheduled to being.  Special note the juice recipes will generate 16-20 oz of juice.

These recipes are great!! I have a question, are they meant to be for 1 serving only?

  9. Mariam Turay says:

You can, depending on the type of juicer you have will determine length of storage. More about juicers –> http://www.greenjuiceaday.com/best-juicers Centrifugal juicer can store up to 24 hours. Masticating juicers can store up to 3 days refrigerated. Make sure when storing your juices you fill the container as close to the top, leaving out as much air.

  10. minnie says:

how many times can i drink this? and does this replace meals? i am diabetic will it rise or lower my blood sugar?

  11. I'm beginning my first juice detox/fast/cleanse tomorrow. I made the mean green recipe (less kale and more spinach) for tomorrow. The only think that helps me tolerate kale is how it will benefit me nutritionally. Is there any way to "lighten" the bitterness of kale? I'll post your page on Fb and later send you a blog that I started to record my journey.

  12. You can juice fruit in it to hide the bitter taste that's what I do

  13. I already add fruit…but I found the answer… Use a different type of kale! I went and got something different and it tastes great.

  19. Evelina says:

    Hi Mariam
Me and my husband are going to start the 30 days Juicing, we bought all the ingredients for the first 5 days. I have the Vitamix and it is not clear on the recipes weather is ok to add water or not to the juices, please explain. Thanks

    • Hi Evelina. The recipes are made for a juicer. If you’re going to use a blender, you’ll need to reduce the amount of produce as well as add water to help it blend. Strain afterwards to have a smoother juice.

  20. I started out using organic baby kale and gradually moved up to the denser stuff. Now I can eat it straight from the stalk. The baby kale has a lighter flavor similar to spinach.

  21. Katie says:

I’m new to juicing and had a question about fruit substitutes. I am allergic to apples, kiwi, cherries and peaches but apples appear in most juicing recipes.

Any recommendations on which fruit would be the best substitute for apples? Thank you!!

I am now in to day five and I am loving the recipes. I am new to juicing, and for now I am using my Ninja which seems to work fine. I strain the juices out and have a great drink. I promised myself after 30 days if I continue, I will purchase a juicer. Today was very different concerning the juice. So far I am liking the lime and cilantro. Can’t wait for tomorrow….I love this…thank you…
