  • Are you unable to connect to the game with a router?

Routers are designed to help ensure the incoming and outgoing connections to your computer are protected. You may need to alter some of these settings to allow access to Nitto 1320 Legends.

Nitto 1320 Legends does not offer direct support for proxies (Internet connection sharing), firewalls, or routers. Our recommendations are to try our suggestions, but to also contact your ISP or network administrator for assistance to connecting. We also recommend making sure your router is up to date with firmware and drivers. Please contact your router manufacturer for assistance on connection issues.

  • I hear a lot about ports, what port does Nitto 1320 Legends use?

Nitto 1320 Legends does not use any special port to connect to our servers. If you are viewing this website then you should not have to worry about port settings to connect to the Nitto 1320 Legends game. Our software uses the same port settings as Internet HTTP Protocol.

Nitto 1320 Legends may attempt to use port 3724 if normal communications fail. If you are behind a restrictive firewall or proxy, opening port 3724 may allow you to connect.

  • How are ports restricted when using a proxy, firewall, or router?

If you are using a proxy server, firewall or any other Internet connection sharing method, it could restrict certain packets from unknown sources. This can be an IP address that you have never had contact with. Please contact your ISP provider or whoever is in charge of your network to ensure that there are no extra securities in place.

  • What do I do if I am still having problems connecting using a firewall, router, or proxy?

You can try to reset your router and/or your modem to see if your connection issue is still in place. We recommend first unplugging your modem and then your router if you are using one. Wait a few seconds and plug your modem back in first. Ensure that it is connected then plug in your router. We then recommend renewing your IP address and flushing the DNS Resolver Cache. The steps to do this are the following:

Windows Vista Users: Windows Vista requires that you run the command prompt (DOS shell) in Administrator Mode to perform these functions. To start the DOS shell in admin mode:

    1. Go to Start/Programs/Accessories and locate the "Command Prompt" shortcut.
    2. Right click Command Prompt shortcut and select "Run as Administrator" from the drop down menu.
    3. Continue with the Windows XP/2000/98 directions below at step 2. Windows XP/2000/98: Release/Renew your IP address and Flush the DNS Resolver Cache:
      1. Go to Start then Run and type the word "cmd" (without quotation marks) in the Run box. A DOS window should open on screen.
      2. Type: "ipconfig /release" (without quotation marks) in the DOS window.
      3. Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been released.
      4. Type: "ipconfig /renew" (without quotation marks) in the DOS window.
      5. Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been re-established.
      6. Type: "ipconfig /flushdns" (without quotation marks) in the DOS window.
      7. Close the DOS window and attempt to make a connection.
  • I am still unable to connect after trying all these methods, help me!

If you are still having issues connecting after these suggestions, we recommend removing your router out of the equation. Use a direct connection from your modem to your PC and reboot both your modem and your PC. Test the connection. If you are able to connect to the Nitto 1320 Legends game, we recommend contacting your router manufacturer for additional assistance.
