USAT Announces UFC Partnership Agreement

Colorado Springs, COLORADO- USA Taekwondo is proud to announce a new partnership agreement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®), effective immediately. This new agreement has already paid dividends for USA Taekwondo by virtue of having two USA Taekwondo logos appear on the UFC Octagon® during UFC FIGHT NIGHT: HENDERSON vs. KHABILOV on Fox Sports 1 Network this past Saturday, June 7, 2014. This branding allowed for great publicity and worldwide exposure for USA Taekwondo.

The UFC-USAT Partnership also allows for USA Taekwondo bumpers around the Octagon posts during selected UFC events. USA Taekwondo also will receive a limited number of discounted UFC Fight Club memberships, passes to UFC Fight Club Q&A sessions and a tab on UFC.com. Other benefits will be announced to USA Taekwondo membership at a future date. In return, USA Taekwondo will promote upcoming UFC events and brand extensions to USA Taekwondo membership. Additionally, USA Taekwondo will work with UFC and Las Vegas Events to support efforts to bring Taekwondo events to Las Vegas during International Fight Week™, hosted during the 4th of July week.

This is a mutually beneficial deal for both organizations, and one that has the potential to increase the membership of USA Taekwondo while driving more business to UFC and its properties.
