Hailing from Lewisham, South London, Novelist is one of the most promising MCs cutting his teeth in grime right now.
Whether it's through his fast-paced webcam duppies or his work with Slackk, who he appeared with in The Lab in January, his skill on the mic has caused pioneering grime DJ Logan Sama to brand him "the poster child for the first generation of real grime kids".
That's a sentiment that we echo here at Mixmag, and clearly those at Rinse FM do too, inviting the youngster to join experimental producer Mumdance (pictured above) on his show on Sunday. Expect hard-hitting beats and fast-flowing freestyle from the South Londoner. He's one to watch, for sure.
