Dubai Healthcare City Launches BR Medical Suites

Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), an integrated healthcare free zone and a member of TECOM Investments Sciences Cluster, today announced the launch of BR Medical Suites, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery and day care centre that will offer world-class clinical and diagnostic services through the finest specialists across a wide range of disciplines.
The launch ceremony was attended by His Excellency Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director-General of Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Others present on the occasion included Dr. Ayesha Abdulla, Managing Director of TECOM Investments Sciences Cluster, Dr. B. R. Shetty, Chairman and Managing Director of BR Medical Suites, as well as government officials and medical professionals.
His Excellency Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid said: “The past decade has witnessed major transformations in healthcare in the region and in Dubai. Dr. B. R. Shetty is a recipient of several prestigious global awards including the most notable ‘Order of Abu Dhabi Award-2005’ that was given in recognition of his remarkable contribution to healthcare in the region. He has also been awarded the ‘Padma Shri’, one of the highest civilian honours conferred by the Government of India for exceptional achievements.
DHCC continues to attract new providers in various specialties including Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), ayurvedic medicine, obstetrics and gynecology/fertility treatment and internal medicine. The integrated healthcare free zone has evolved into a cluster of over 90 outpatient medical centres and diagnostic laboratories, two hospitals accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI) – a US-based private sector not-for-profit organization that benchmarks medical institutions for delivery of quality care, as well as more than 150 commercial healthcare and retail services that follow stringent standards in healthcare delivery.
