African United lift Udaypur Gold Cup

GAIGHAT: African United Club won the third Civil Homes Udaypur Gold Cup Football Tournament with a 2-0 victory over Samrat Sporting Club of Morang here today.
Saheed Aziz put African United ahead in the 32nd minute utilising a pass from his skipper Victor. Aba Cedric doubled the tally for African United in the 78th.
African United pocketed Rs 200,000, while Samrat received Rs 100,000. Samrat goalkeeper Abhilash Thapa Magar was named the man-of-the-final. Aba was named the best player of the tournament and got Rs 10,000. Martins of Dharan and Segun Akinade of African United, who struck four goals each, shared the highest scorer’s award of Rs 10,000.
