Description:
This is a 5th edition Standard Bearer - for either the Bowmen or Men at Arms, I can't remember which though - that I used in the diorama "Princess Bellefleur to the Rescue!"
I always disliked the great thick staves / poles that the miniatures were given; they always looked as if the were carrying telephone poles or tossing the caber (a strange Scottish sport)!!
So I replaced the original staff with a longer, thinner, hardened brass wire one, and placed the original Fleur de Lys top back on the replacement staff.
The standard is made from lead foil and then decalled with the heraldry of Princess Bellefleur, the Duchess of Brionne.
The Standard Bearer's livery colours and badge are those of Princess Bellefleur.
Sir Guy
