Saudi Arabia Expresses Sympathy To Malaysia Over MH17 Tragedy
KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 (Bernama) -- Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Malaysia, Fahad A. H. Alrashid today expressed sympathy and sadness over the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 aircraft tragedy.
"I'm sorry about what had happened (to the aircraft) and I hope God will give strength to the families", he said after attending a breaking of the fast here.
At the event, 55 underpriviled children and folks were given Aidilfitri goodies.
Flight MH17, which carried 298 passengers and crew members from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17.
The Boeing 777-200 aircraft was believed to have been shot down by a surface-to-air missile.
