10,000 Drums Across America Say 'NO' to McCain April 5, Everywhere:
Sen. McCain needs some SERIOUS education on the health effects from low-level ionizing radiation released by uranium mining and nuclear power plants! How about all the uranium mines and contaminated aquifers in Arizona/Navajo Nation get cleaned up before he pushes any more nukes on us? How about the fact that there is NO SAFE WAY TO STORE THE WASTE? Nuclear power plants are NOT the answer to climate change! There are serious health problems increasing around every nuclear power plant in the country and abroad. Besides childhood and adult cancer clusters, nuke plants are also associated with higher infant mortality, higher rates of miscarriage, and gastric, immune and respiratory disorders (ECRR, 2010; Mangano, 2014). In other words, the Nukes are killing us, and they want us to pay for them in the hundreds of billions. No to Keystone XL! Say no to McCain April 5. http://safeenergy.org/2014/03/04/sen-mccain-says-he-wont-deal-with-climate-bills-unless-they-include-a-lot-of-nukes/comment-page-1/#comment-189

There are events planned worldwide on or near the anniversary.

There are many beautiful and creative posters in different languages that would make a poignant exhibit and educational tool.

Heal Fukushima Monterey Bay will hold three community gatherings for prayer, meditations, songs, and actions to contribute toward stopping the crisis, cleaning up and restoring the Earth, and healing all people and life affected by this crisis.
The situation in Fukushima continues to deteriorate, and radiation is increasing on the West Coast of America. We can impact this catastrophe that is destroying the ocean and sea life and harming everything, but we must act now.
