Murphy to return to Neighbours?

Sheree Murphy has said she would consider becoming a regular on Neighbours.

The former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star has been filming a six-week guest role on the Australian soap, where she plays British businesswoman Dakota Davies - an ex of one of Ramsay Street's male residents, who hasn't quite recovered from the split.

The actress told the Australian Associated Press she is open to a longer stint because she is thinking of moving Down Under permanently with footballer husband Harry Kewell and their four children. The couple previously lived in Melbourne between 2011 to 2013 when Harry played for Melbourne Heart.

"We are actually weighing up at the minute where we are going to be based," she explained. "Our base is in the UK but we have a house here [in Melbourne], so we need to make a decision whether we live in Melbourne permanently.

"Our children are at the age where we can't keep taking them out of school - and if we move it will probably be around early next year, but we still really have to sort that out."

Sheree added: "It would be nice if the door was kept open because if I did come back to Melbourne permanently, it would be great to have a steady job."

The actress' first scenes on Neighbours will air in the UK in October.
