Associate Editors
We are in search of three new associates. The primary task of an associate is direct editorial work upon poetic and prosaic submissions; other responsibilities may include event coordination or work with our archival program. If you are interested in applying for a position, follow carefully the directions below.
one – Familiarize yourself with the April 2013 issue of AV (a few are still available in Caffiends and the Pratt Library). Provide one critical comment about the issue. This is intentionally a very broad starting point.
two – Next, tell us about: your interest in working with us; your most important experiences which may be relevant to editorial work with AV (work, school, life, anything); and your skills that may prove useful to us.
three – Finally, fit everything into one double spaced page. Please send the resulting document to us at actavic@yahoo.ca; be sure to attach it as a PDF file. You have until 23:59 on Friday September 13.
If your application is successful, we will ask you to join us for an interview on September 16 or 17.
Note that this opportunity is limited to first and second year Victoria undergraduates.
