Ajay Devgn is all set to join the league of actors Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade by turning Marathi filmmaker. The actor is presenting the upcoming Marathi film 'Viti Dandu' directed by Ganesh Kadam.
The Bollywood star says, "I feel proud that I am connecting with Marathi cinema through such a great film. I know Vikas Kadam who has written the film, since many years. When Vikas had approached me for the film that time only I had decided to get associated with the project in some way."
Ajay adds "My character as Bajirao Singham in my movie 'Singham', has been loved by the audience a lot. But now this Bajirao Singham has fallen in love with Marathi. The language anyway is not alien to me."
'Viti Dandu' revolves around the relationship of a grandfather and his grandson essayed by actors Dilip Prabhawalkar and Shubhankar Atre, respectively. The film is set in a pre as well as post independence era. Ravindra Mankani, Yatin Karyekar, Ashok Samarth, Mrunal Thakur are some other actors in the film.
