Western Release Date Set For Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call

The rhythm game based on the popular Final Fantasy franchise has been given release dates for the western market. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call is the sequel to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, which combined rhythm game mechanics with a battle system that represented concepts from the Final Fantasy series, featuring well known characters such as Cloud, Squall, and Zidane. Curtain Call brings all of that back, and more.

The game will hit shelves September 16 in North America, then September 19 in Europe. The standard version will be available, however a further two limited and collector’s editions will also be up for grabs.

The limited edition is only available if you pre-order the game, and will include a music CD containing 5 tracks from the game, a stylus that leaves room to place one of the character stickers you’ll get as an added bonus.

The bonus items that come with the limited edition, encouraging players to pre-order as the stock is limited.

Meanwhile, the collector’s edition, priced at $69.99 / £44.99, includes two music CDs – one being the same as mentioned above and another 20-track compilation, a collector’s pouch for the 3DS, and five CollectaCards.

The collector’s edition offers much more and is the best option to buy if you’re looking for collectibles and other goodies.
