The Sex and the City alum has landed a recurring role on NBC's Hannibal, TVLine.com reports.

Nixon, best known for portraying Miranda Hobbs on the HBO series, will play Kade Purnell, who works in the Office of the Inspector General in FBI Oversight who helps investigate the events of Season 1 that landed FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) in jail.
Following Sex, Nixon's TV credits include The Big C, 30 Rock and Law & Order: SVU.
Hannibal returns midseason on NBC.
