Every day, after the work is done, the kids are in bed, and the babies are sleeping … I treat myself to about 90 minutes of Diablo 3 on the PS4. It’s the perfect capper for the day, even though I’ve played damned near every other version of the game.
What’s interesting about this claim is that we workshop titles. It’s rare that my first idea for a title makes it through, or isn’t edited by a few other people. Often times I pick two I like, one of which I MAY have written, and give the newsroom a choice without saying which one I like or wrote.
So I’m not sure. Headlines are a collaborative thing, and they go through a few sets of eyes before they go up on the site.
I’m already getting hate on Twitter from people saying if I played more games I wouldn’t suck at my job, in response to this piece.
“Exclusive” is a marketing term. I would always assume it means timed exclusive, with the exception being if the platform holder buys the IP or the studio. I agree it’s poopy, but until companies stop thinking it works as a selling point it will be used.
I’m not even mad. Just disappointed.
