An Amazon Machine Image (AMI) is an encrypted machine image of a specific computer running a base operating system, configured in a specific way, and can also contain a set of applications and services for accomplishing a specific purpose. An AMI contains all the information necessary to start up and run the software on the image. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the computing environment for running instances of an AMI.
AWS CloudFormation gives developers and system administrators an easy way to create and manage a collection of related AWS resources. The CloudFormation stack associated with this product will launch an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) with the software and configure related resources, such as Elastic IPs, VPCs, and security groups.

Annual Subscription Details
Annual software subscription requires one time up front payment with no ongoing charges, and covers all software fees for the selected instance type. Hourly AWS infrastructure usage fees still apply. Learn more about annual subscriptions
A deprecated version is no longer offered to new customers and will no longer be supported by the vendor after a certain date.
Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to newer versions of the software.
Usage Instructions
Sophos UTM is managed via Web Interface using HTTPS on port 4444 to the IP of the instance. (eg. https://elasticIPaddress:4444) By default, the security groups this instance uses are configured to block public access from the Internet to the WebAdmin. If your VPC uses a Virtual Gateway or other method to provide a VPN access to your VPC you can administer the instance using the IP address of the network interface in the Private subnet. If you do not have an existing method for securely reaching instances inside your VPC, you can get instructions on creating a SSH jump box at the following link: https://s3.amazonaws.com/awsmp-usageinstructions/Creating_and_using_VPC.txt, or edit the security group assigned to your Sophos UTM to allow TCP port 4444 through from your source location. While not used for administration, SSH access can be enabled after being activated from within the Sophos UTM WebAdmin.

For region
Try one instance of this product for 30 days. There will be no hourly software charges for that instance, but AWS infrastructure charges still apply. Free Trials will automatically convert to a paid hourly subscription upon expiration.
Note that Free Trials are only applicable for hourly subscriptions, but you can opt to purchase an annual subscription at any time.
