When you make an action movie, it’s inevitable that your cast will suffer from bumps and bruises, skin irritations, and overall fatigue. That’s why key makeup artist Kim Ayers used Boiron products on the set of the new action thriller, “Battle: Los Angeles.”

“I used a lot of Boiron products on the set of ‘Battle: Los Angeles.’ It was a very physically challenging war movie,” says Ayers. “We used Calendula Ointment for chapped lips and hands, Optique 1 Eye Drops to wash out debris from eyes, Arnicare Gel for sore muscles, and Oscillococcinum when the actors started to get worn down and not feeling well. Boiron products are great.”

Ayers was also the makeup artist for “Iron Man 2,” “Angels & Demons,” and “The Office” TV series. She’s currently working on the set of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” to be released May 20, 2011.

An action thriller about a global offensive initiated by unknown extraterrestrial hostiles, “Battle: Los Angeles” stars Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez and Bridget Moynahan, and was the number one box office film in its opening weekend (March 11-13, 2011).
