ArnicareEverywhere3Week #3 Clue & Question: It’s carnival season again, which brings massive celebrations over the five days leading up to Lent (this year, Lent starts on March 5). The annual parties and parades in places like Trinidad and Tobago, Veracruz, Mexico, New Orleans (where it’s called Mardi Gras) and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil may be the most famous, but the largest carnival celebration in Central America holds its own with millions of dollars spent on outrageous floats, mountains of fireworks, and not one, but two, elaborately-costumed carnival queens who engage in a lively “uptown” vs. “downtown” rivalry complete with name-calling and entourages of fans. Where does this Central American carnival celebration take place?

Click here to complete the contest entry form and submit your answer to this week’s photo challenge by 5 p.m. ET on Monday, March 10. Not a Facebook user? Use this link instead. Weekly winners will be notified by e-mail for verification and announced on our Arnicare Facebook page. Good luck!
