Celebrate World Homeopathy Awareness Week with a Twitterthon

by boiron on April 8th, 2011

Did you know that next week is World Homeopathy Awareness Week (WHAW)?

Created to promote homeopathic awareness all around the world, WHAW will be held from April 10-16. During that time, free public events such as lectures, media interviews, volunteer first-aid at sports events, free & reduced clinics, written materials, pieces on Twitter and Facebook, publication articles and much more will be shared in over 40 countries. April 10 is also the birthday of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy.

To celebrate Dr. Hahnemann’s birthday and honor WHAW, the Homeopathy World Community is sponsoring a Twitterthon on Sunday, April 10 at 1 p.m. EST. To join the Twitterthon and share how homeopathy has helped you and your family, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the Homeopathy World Community Twitter site on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.

Step 2: Write at least 10 Tweets (140 character long messages about the benefits of homeopathy, great resources with links, quotes, etc.) and post the Tweets (by logging into your Twitter account) at five-minute intervals. Be sure to include these references in the Tweet: @WHAW, #Homeopathy and #WHAW.

Step 3: Watch the good news about homeopathy spread out into the social media world and the visibility climb to new depths with your help, Twitter and those # keys.
