She recently shared with us some of her favorite medicines, including Oscillococcinum.

“I personally use homeopathy. My favorite [medicines] are Oscillococcinum, which I take at the first sign of flu-like symptoms, and Histaminum, since I tend to have hay fever,” says Dr. Gilbert. “I have also used Gelsemium sempervirens a lot in my life to be less emotional before an exam. I took 5 pellets of Gelsemium sempervirens 12C or 30C the evening before each of my exams and 5 pellets the morning of. With this [medicine], I was much less emotional (I used to panic at exams), which helped me get excellent grades. Gelsemium is made from the plant yellow jasmine. It has no side effects or drug interactions.”

The homeopathic medicine Gelsemium sempervirens can relieve stage fright, nervousness or apprehension before an event. If you would like more information on Gelsemium and other singles, click here.
