Do You Need a National Observance Just to Relax?

by boiron on August 13th, 2010

This Sunday is National Relaxation Day, so if work, family or other issues have been driving you crazy lately, you might want to take advantage of this observance and well, just relax. Just in case you have forgotten how to relax, here are some helpful hints:

  1. Take the whole day off. Sleep late. Lounge around (preferably in your pajamas).
  2. Pick up that book you’ve wanted to read, or watch a movie or TV series marathon.
  3. Spend the day at the lake, the beach, the mountains, or any place that’s tranquil – maybe as close as your own deck or patio.
  4. Leave it to voice mail. Don’t answer your phone or e-mail unless there’s an emergency. It can wait until tomorrow.
  5. Head to the spa, and treat yourself to a manicure, pedicure or massage. Or even all three.
  6. Don’t cook. Order some take out or head to your favorite restaurant.

If you still can’t seem to relax and enjoy one of these activities, then get a little help from Boiron’s Sedalia or Quietude quick-dissolving tablets. Sedalia treats hypersensitivity and irritability due to stress, while Quietude helps with sleeplessness and restless sleep. Both medicines work naturally, without side effects and are non-habit forming. These homeopathic medicines can help make sure you get the most out of National Relaxation Day.

We would love to hear how you plan to spend this day, so please leave a comment below. (Just make sure it’s not on August 15 – remember, you’re supposed to relax, not be on the computer!)
