El Segundo Makes a Run For Education With Arnicare
Calling all El Segundo runners! Looking for a race this weekend? Then sign up for the 22nd El Segundo Run For Education 5K/10K tomorrow at 8 a.m., and try your luck at one of the more unique USATF certified courses in southern California. Hosted by El Segundo’s PTA Council as a major fundraiser for the K-12 public schools, the course features a moderate coastal climate and a tour of downtown El Segundo and its local residential neighborhoods. Top finishers will receive Arnicare Gel in their swag bags to help relieve those sore, stiff muscles post-race.
Not a runner, but still interested in participating? Stop by the Health & Fitness Expo from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Free to the public, the expo gives community members the opportunity to meet local health & fitness professionals, retailers and service providers offering the latest in running and fitness products available. Exhibitors will provide free samples, give demonstrations, and showcase sports apparel, health and nutritional products, and fitness services.
