Report: ISIS Flying Its Own Warplanes in Syria
Three Captured Fighters Seen Over Aleppo
ISIS has been a faction that has undergone dramatic changes over the past few years, starting as a smallish al-Qaeda affiliate conducting traditional terrorism, and expanding into a full-fledged de facto state with its own army. Now, it may have an air force too.
Reports out of Syria’s Aleppo Province are claiming ISIS has been test flying three MiG 21 or MiG 23 fighter jets in the area around the Jarrah military airport in the eastern portion of the province. The flights are lasting only five to ten minutes each.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a rebel mouthpiece, claimed that ISIS had recruited Saddam-era Iraqi pilots to fly the warplanes, and locals reported seeing the planes flying low around the airport.
The Pentagon said they weren’t able to confirm any such flights, but did say that they are “keeping a close eye” on ISIS, which has bragged in the past about capturing the jets, which at the time were believed to be in an unusable state.

It's funny that no one shoots them down, these phantom jihadi jets. They get bombed, the Phantom Jihadi Infantry, yet still make "stunning" advances. Amazing what results weapons gifted to them by proxy from AmeriKa thru the Iraqi Army can produce. Must have some cloaking devices too, since all we hit are empty buildings, civilians, oil refineries and other infrastructure.
I remember thinking, "boy Al-Qaeda is certainly a poor substitute for an eternal adversary so the MIC can go on making Cold War-like profits…and the only way they could possibly have an enemy / rival such as that would be they would have to bend over backwards and splay their legs sideways and stand on their heads to CREATE that enemy"…and this is exactly what they are doing.

Is it also true, as Captain Black has intimated, that ISIS also have the infamous three-hundred-and-forty-four-millimeter Lepage glue gun?

Now what happens when they start bombing targets? Are they still "terrorist" when dropping bombs from altitude? Otherwise, couldn't someone call the firebombing of Tokyo or some such "terrorism"? It is violence on civilians for political purposes, yes? What if they target military targets only? I thought altitude automatically made violence not terrorism anymore.
I might be missing something.

Exactly. This whole ISIS thing is so transparent it's hard to fathom how anyone is falling for it.

Curtis Le May who was the General in charge of the WWII Allied Pacific Air theatre, once quipped that if the US lost WWII he would be considered a War Criminal, for bombing Civilian Targets!
