by boiron on July 9th, 2012

Interested in furthering your knowledge of integrative medicine? Then tune in this summer to the popular PBS series “Healing Quest,” a weekly national television show that provides information on integrative health and natural approaches to well-being. In an episode that is currently airing and will be rotating in various PBS markets through October, board certified pediatrician Lindy Woodard, MD, explains how homeopathic medicines and an integrative wellness approach deliver results with her patients.

“I found my way to integrative medicine through my stomach. My love of food, a brother with celiac disease, and a sensitive stomach sent me to my laboratory, the kitchen. I have always felt that food is medicine and can be the cause and cure for many childhood diseases such as allergies and eczema,” says Dr. Woodward, mother of two. “I consider homeopathy, nutrition and gut health to be the framework for understanding wellness and curing disease.”
