Celebrate Holistic Living This Month
Join the Holistic Moms Network in observing October as Holistic Living Month. Created by the HMN, Holistic Living Month was formed to help celebrate and honor holistic lifestyle choices and to raise awareness for natural health and green living. Throughout the month, the HMN is holding several special events both live and online, educational meetings, Twitter parties and webinars to share their knowledge of natural and holistic living with their growing community.
Holistic Living Month kicked off this past weekend at the Natural Living Conference in Irvine, Calif., with talks by keynote speakers Robyn O’Brien, author and children’s health policy expert, and Mayim Bialik, actress and author of an upcoming book on attachment parenting. The conference also featured workshop sessions and a holistic exhibit hall. The observance continues with a nationwide Open House, weekly Twitter parties and online auction. The HMN is encouraging parents and individuals who are passionate about healthy living to join their local Holistic Moms chapter this month—become a member or renew your membership during Holistic Living Month, and you can save with a special rate! Twitter parties held every Tuesday evening at 10 p.m. EST at #holisticmoms feature interesting guest hosts, helpful information and giveaways. And from now until October 8, you can participate in the Holistic Moms Online Auction to bid on some great items and resources for natural living, including a Boiron Basket of Health, filled with all of your favorite homeopathic essentials.
