Holistic Moms Network is a Finalist in Warrior of Change Contest

by boiron on January 7th, 2011

The Holistic Moms Network (HMN), a national non-profit parents organization, has been selected as one of five finalists in Sambazon’s Warrior of Change contest. As part of Sambazon’s Warrior Up campaign, this contest will award a $10,000 grant to an individual that demonstrates the ability to most effectively make positive social, environmental and economic change in his/her world.

Boiron is a proud sponsor of the HMN, which connects parents who are interested in holistic health and green living. Their mission is to generate national awareness, education and support for holistic parenting and green living by providing nurturing, open-minded and respectful local community networks that encourage families to share these ideals and learn from each other. If chosen as the winner of the Warrior of Change contest, Nancy Massoto, Founder and Executive Director of HMN, says she plans to use the grant to strengthen communities and hold leadership training events. The organization will also boost its scholarships to moms in need by giving away 50 new HMN memberships.

You can vote for the Holistic Moms Network by clicking here. Voting is open from January 5-21, and the winner will be announced on January 21.
