Help Set a Guinness World Record—Participate in the Great Cloth Diaper Change!

by boiron on April 20th, 2012

In 2011, Judy Aagard, founder of Tiny Tots, an organization in California that helps parents make healthy decisions for their young children and the earth, wanted to celebrate Earth Day by hosting a family-friendly community event. Her idea soon turned into a dream to set a Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously. Her dream became a reality with the founding of the Great Cloth Diaper Change (GCDC), which was organized by a small group of cloth diaper enthusiasts eager to demonstrate that cloth diapers are a real option for today’s families. And with 5,026 participants at 127 locations in five countries, the GCDC set a Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously.

Now in 2012, the GCDC hopes to break their own record, and they’re well on their way—there are 305 officially registered hosts for this year’s event in 16 countries!
