Boiron Gives the LA Dodgers a Healthy Start to the Season

by boiron on March 30th, 2012

Once again, Boiron is kicking off the 2012 Major League baseball season by stocking up the Los Angeles Dodgers with a supply of our medicines to keep them in top health throughout the long season. Players, coaches and executives will receive gift bags from the Boiron team at the LA Dodgers Luxury Lounge this coming Tuesday. These gift bags will be packed with our most popular medicines, including Oscillococcinum, Arnicare, Sportenine and Optique 1, to help relieve cold and flu-like symptoms, inevitable muscle pain and stiffness, and other ailments they may face in the upcoming season.

At last year’s Luxury Lounge, players such as catcher A.J. Ellis, outfielder Matt Kemp, pitcher Mike MacDougal, and catcher Rod Barajas (who’s now a Pittsburgh Pirate) received Boiron gift bags.

“I’ve used Arnica, and [I’ve] seen the pellets,” said MacDougal. “It’s at Whole Foods.” His teammate and second baseman Ivan DeJesus also mentioned he is a fan of Arnica. “I have used Arnica before. I know this one,” he said.

The Dodgers take on the San Diego Padres in an Opening Day match-up on Thursday at 4:05 p.m. PST at PETCO Park. The Dodgers’ home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 vs. the Pirates at 1:10 p.m. PST.

With offices in Simi Valley, Calif. and Newtown Square, Pa., the interoffice rivalry at Boiron between Dodgers and Phillies fans is pretty intense during baseball season. Our team members in Simi Valley, Calif. are the most excited about helping the Dodgers get ready for the upcoming season. This year, our teams will face off in Philadelphia on June 4-7 and in Los Angeles on July 15-18.

Don’t forget to check back with us for an update and photos of the Dodgers after the event!
