Boiron is Proud Sponsor of HMN’s Natural Living Conference This Weekend

Boiron is a proud sponsor of the Holistic Moms Network’s 8th Annual Natural Living Conference, “Holistic Parenting: Mind, Body, and Spirit,” being held in Irvine, Calif. this Saturday. The conference offers an opportunity for parents and practitioners everywhere to connect, share and learn about holistic health and green living. Lucky attendees stopping by the Boiron table will receive Oscillococcinum, Children’s Chestal cough syrup, Arnicare Gel, and Camilia teething medicine.

As one of two keynote speakers for the event, author, activist and mother of four Robyn O’Brien will share her thoughts on “The Unhealthy Truth About Our Food.” O’Brien founded www.allergykidsfoundation.org, an organization that focuses on restoring the integrity of our food supply and the health of children, and her critically acclaimed book, “The Unhealthy Truth: How Our Food Is Making Us Sick and What We Can Do About it,” was published on Mother’s Day 2009. O’Brien writes for several national magazines, and was recently recognized by The Discovery Channel as one of its 15 Top Visionaries and by Ted Turner’s Captain Planet Foundation as a “Superhero for the Earth.”

The event’s second keynote speaker, Mayim Bialik, will focus on “Parenting by Intuition: From Hollywood to Holistic Mom.” An actress, author and mother of two, Bialik is best known for her role as Blossom Russo on the early 1990s NBC sitcom, “Blossom,” and she currently stars as Amy Farrah Fowler on CBS’s hit series, “The Big Bang Theory.” Bialik has a doctorate in neuroscience, and is currently editing her book on attachment parenting, due out next spring. She lives a green and eco-friendly lifestyle.

In addition to its keynote speakers, the conference will also feature several educational workshop sessions, a holistic exhibit hall, and a silent auction. Boiron’s Public Relations Manager Deborah Kelly will be on hand to meet with attendees and share information about our company and our line of children-friendly medicines.
