HMN Announces Date for 2011 Natural Living Conference

Just Announced: The Holistic Moms Network’s 2011 Natural Living Conference will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in Long Beach, Calif. Led by keynote speakers Robyn O’Brien and Mayim Bialik, the theme of this year’s conference is “Holistic Parenting: Mind, Body & Spirit.” The conference will feature four workshops, including a presentation by Dr. Lauren Feder, a holistic pediatrician, as well as a holistic exhibit hall, a healthy options buffet lunch, and an online natural products auction.

The Holistic Moms Network (HMN) encourages anyone with an interest in holistic health, mindful parenting and green living to attend this conference. The speakers and workshops will address a variety of topics, from positive parenting and living green to healthy nutrition and the power of positive intention. Children are welcome at the conference, but must be supervised at all times.

About the Keynote Speakers:

Robyn O’Brien: A mother of four, O’Brien is a former food industry analyst and an expert on children’s health policy. Hailed as the “Erin Brockovich of the food industry,” O’Brien is the founder of the Allergy Kids Foundation and author of “The Unhealthy Truth: How Our Food is Making Us Sick…And What We Can Do About It.”

Mayim Bialik: Bialik is best known for her role as Blossom Russo in the early 1990s NBC sitcom, “Blossom.” Most recently, she portrays Amy Farrah Fowler on the CBS hit series, “The Big Bang Theory.” Bialik received her undergraduate degree and doctorate from UCLA, and is currently editing her book on attachment parenting (spring 2012). A mother of two, Bialik lives a green and eco-friendly lifestyle.
