Malaga were leading 2-1 with moments left but Marco Reus equalised and Santana scored a winner for Borussia Dortmund in injury-time to break Malaga hearts.

After the game, Al Thani tweeted:

“Thank you very much for the team you have been Champions On the pitch I’m sorry to go out this way injustice and racism.

“I hope to open a thorough investigation into UEFA regarding the Spanish club out this way Which does not affect the spirit of sport.

“This is not football, but racism and clear of all.”

The Malaga owner continued his Twitter outburst on Wednesday morning, posting a picture of the lead up to Santana’s injury time winner which appears to show four Dortmund players offside as the ball is played in.

Al Thani once again claimed that Manuel Pellegrini’s side had been the victim of “racism”.
