|THE BBC Children in Need Sewing Bee is set to begin on BBC Two tonight (Tuesday, October 21).
The programme is a celebrity version of The Great British Sewing Bee and will see 12 stars compete over three episodes.
They will face challenges set by sewing expert May Martin and Savile Row's Patrick Grant.
Each programme follows the celebrities over two intense days in the sewing room, with the stars aiming to inspire viewers to get creative at home and raise money for Children in Need.
Taking part in tonight's episode are Hairy Biker Dave Myers, radio presenter and DJ Edith Bowman, Embarrassing Bodies presenter Dr Dawn Harper and actress Wendi Peters.
Guest host Jenny Eclair also visits a project supported by Children in Need to find out how donations to the charity are spent.
The programme will be broadcast at 8pm.
