BleachBit is an open-source disk cleaner software which can automatically clean up unnecessary files or securely shred privacy-sensitive files from disk space, including various application-specific file caches, browser history, temporary files, system logs, unused locale files, etc. BleachBit can also wipe out unused disk space, so that any traces of deleted files can be hidden, and the size of (compressed) disk images can be minimized. BleachBit provides application specific cleanup options, so that users can choose what data to clean up for each application.
