Synopsis

This text refers to the Macintosh version of this title.Gabriel Knight is a failed writer living in the French Quarter of New Orleans, in a book shop that holds all he owns in the world. His assistant, Grace Nakimura, works in the book shop and does research for him. Supposedly, he is working on a book, but he hasn't written anything in quite a while.

Making the news are a new series of violent slayings, the "Voodoo Murders." Gabriel is abruptly drawn into the case by his interest in a beautiful woman who appeared at the crime scene. Gabriel must solve the case or risk being killed by unidentified villains. Along the way, he learns more about his family history than he ever wanted to know and of his mysterious links to the evil spirit called Tetelo.

Danger lurks ever near and Gabriel needs all his wits to solve the case, a case that could not only kill him, but those he counts as his friends as well. Before the case is over, Gabriel will travel to Germany and Africa before coming back to New Orleans.
