at POWER-GEN International

On December 10, 2014, the U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) hosted a seminar and panel discussion in collaboration with the U.S. Commercial Service at the POWER-GEN International Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida. King Abdullah Makes Series of
New Government Appointments

On December 8, 2014, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah appointed new ministers across an assortment of ministries. The appointments mark the biggest cabinet reshuffle in years as ministers were appointed for health, Islamic affairs, higher education, transportation, agriculture, communications and information technology, culture and information, and social affairs in the lead-up to the announcement of the 2015 budget.  More...

H.R.H. Prince Miteb Bin Abdullah, Minister of the National Guard, has traveled to the U.S. on a historic official visit to meet with President Barack Obama and high-level government leaders, including Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the ongoing strategic U.S.-Saudi relationship that spans 8 decades, as well as regional security in the Middle East.

The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) and the Royal Commission at Yanbu (RCY), the master planner and managing authority for Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu Industrial City, held an exclusive roundtable in Houston, Texas on November 4, 2014. Hosted by H.E. Dr. Alaa Nassif, CEO of RCY, the program served as a forum to share market information, address concerns, and engage in dialogue with a select group of companies who are involved in target industries that Yanbu would like to support and grow in the Kingdom.
