THE CW ORDERS NEW SEASONS OF

“AMERICA'S Next Top Model,” “PENN & TELLER: FOOL US”

AND “MASTERS OF ILLUSION” FOR 2015

November 17, 2014 (Burbank, CA) — The CW has ordered new seasons of AMERICA'S Next Top Model, PENN & TELLER: FOOL US and MASTERS OF ILLUSION to air during 2015.  Each series will roll out throughout the year with specific premiere dates to be announced at a later time.

After acquiring the original British series from DCD Rights to air this past summer, The CW has ordered 13 brand new one-hour episodes of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, which will go back into production next year.  As in the previous series, PENN & TELLER: FOOL US is a one-hour competition series celebrating magic and featuring the legendary duo Penn & Teller.  On each episode of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller.  Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.  The live studio audience and the TV audience watch along with Penn & Teller as they try to figure out the secrets.  Penn & Teller see the trick only once, and have to immediately try to Work It out.  The live studio audience knows there are no camera tricks, secret edits or helpful camera cuts.  This is all real magic.  PENN & TELLER: FOOL US is created and produced by 117 PRODUCTIONS and September Films (part of DCD Media) for ITV, with executive producers Peter Adam Golden and Andrew Golder.

Hosted by actor Dean Cain (“Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”), these 13 all new half-hour episodes of MASTERS OF ILLUSION feature great escapes, fascinating sleight-of-hand, and large scale illusions, all in front of a studio audience.  The series features amazing magic performed by cutting-edge illusionists and escape artists, and performers in each episode display skills ranging from perplexing interactive mind magic to hilarious comedy routines.  Live audience members and viewers at home will be baffled by the astounding skills of these modern illusionists.  MASTERS OF ILLUSION is from Associated Television International with executive producers David McKenzie (“The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” “Marie”), Al Schwartz (“The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” “The Golden Globe Awards” 2013 & 2014, “The Gulf is Back”), Gay Blackstone (“The World Magic Awards” 2007-2009) and David Martin (“Marie”), along with co-executive producers Justin Pierce (“The Rocky Saga: Going the Distance”) and Jim Romanovich (“Inside Story: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”).

The CW has also ordered the 22nd cycle of AMERICA’S Next Top Model, which will again feature men and women contestants vying for the Top Model title.  Dates for the start of production and premiere will be announced at a later date.

AMERICA’S Next Top Model is produced by 10 by 10 Entertainment in association with The Tyra Banks Company.  The executive producers are Ken Mok (“Making the Band”), Tyra Banks and Laura Fuest Silva. The series was created by Tyra Banks and developed by Mok and Kenya Barris.  Tyra Banks also hosts the series, which recently completed airing its 20th cycle in the United States. Currently, “America’s Next Top Model” is under license in over 100 markets around the world and has 20 international versions in production.  “America’s Next Top Model” and the “America’s Next Top Model” format are licensed internationally by CBS Studios International.
