I think that it is probably best if we call both of them a draw, time elapsed. That will give you both a chance to have a go at running through a post game sequence in time for your game 3 match. I hope you've managed to get something out of it at least, feel free to ask me any questions in the future. I'll do the post games for the group warbands this evening, that way you can see how to do that.

Since I did my first game with Duncoman we did our end game together. Is it standard to just finish the end of game stuff within your weekly game log and then basically both parties verify the accuracy of each others' results?

Yeah that is generally the way it goes.

I've gone through the post game process with the spare warbands for the intro games. Contrary to normal procedures I've spend their profits, just so that I could go through the different aspects of the post game sequence.

I did my postgame too. THANKS A BUNCH ASHJWEST for the intro game and the explanations! I'll update my warband thread shortly.

Injuries - None
Experience - All Shadow Blades earned 1 xp for surviving. No advances.
Exploration - Rolled 1 + 4 + 6 + 6 + 1 = 18 - got 4 shards
Double 1s - found 1 shard in the well (passed the T test)
Double 6s - found 3 gc
Sell Warpstone
Sold my 5 shards for 90 gc (9 members).
With 3 gc from the double 6 roll = 93 GC total
Veterans Roll - rolled a 4
Rare Items
Mage found hunting arrows (and gave them to the Shadow Master)! Rolled a 3 for the extra cost, so total cost is 28 gc. That leaves me with 65 gc.
Heroes were looking for an Elven Bow, but failed to find one.
Trading and Recruitment
No new recruits. Shopping time
Longbow for the Shadow Master (his Bow goes to Lad #3) - 15 gc
Longbow for Mage - 15 GC
Longbow for SW #1 (his Bow goes to Lad #4) - 15 gc
Swords for Lads #1 and #2 - 20 gc
0 gc left
Warband Rating and CP
Earned 9 xp in total
Warband earned 1 CP for playing.

Looking forward to the Week 3 game vs. Witch Hunters - Duncoman, we can start whenever you're ready

Damn, I didn't check the site awhile and you guys started a new campaign, lol.

How far are you guys into the game? I would like to join if I'm not too behind.

Welcome. We actually are in the middle of our week 3 game, but I think only 2-3 of the warbands have actually participated in all battles, so you wouldn't be far behind. We also have 3 or 4 group warbands to bring newbies on board. The first page has all of the current warbands and then there's a link to all of their details. If you whip one up over the next day, I have some avaliability to get you a game in for week 3.

Welcome back lastsurvivor!

As klinktastic has said, we're only in week 3, so catching up is not too difficult (indeed, other than perhaps Ash's Beastmen, all the warbands present from the beginning aren't exactly racing away).

Sort yourself out a roster and I'm sure we can find you a game, we only started game 3 on Thursday.

I can get a warband ready by tomorrow. Any restriction for warband? I'm thinking to start a Lahmian warband.

None at all. We've got equal good and evil I think, so whichever you choose will skew it one way or the other!

I'll have a quick look at the Lahmian warband and see whether it needs any provisos. Are you planning on using the Khemri version or the bloodlines version of the standard undead?

Wow, I've never read through that list before. It's quite a strong list with some very interesting/fluffy special rules. Only one qualm, and a small one at that. I would definitely say that a blood sister should not be starting with 0 xp, given that she's quite buffed (+1S, +1T, and +1I) Compares favorably to a couple heroes (Big Un, Bestigor, etc) which have starting xp. Clearly the model should have some xp as it exceeds basic henchmen models, maybe an xp of 8 or 10 would be reasonable. Thoughts?

The valiant Knights were thoroughly defeated by Gorzhog's warband! The Orcs receive 3 CP for playing, winning and for the leader defeating an enemy hero in melee combat.

As for the knights, I will be retiring them and will start afresh with a new warband. They are really too crippled to continue, and, simply put, they aren't as interesting to play as as I thought they would.

However, as I said, I will continue with a new force once I find one that strikes my fancy (hopefully a bretonnian-themed one, or else we will have a bretonnian campaign with no bretonnians!) that I'll post before next week's matches.

I agreed that blood sister is quite strong compared to other. I think some starting experience is acceptable. Also I think 4" reach is a bit unbalanced as well.

I think 8 starting xp for the Blood Sister is about right. I'd also be inclined to say that being able to have 6 heroes from the off (and a cheap necromancer!) is a bit much. As such, I think its sensible to add 10 GC to the hiring cost of all the heroes in the warband.

This allows the 6 heroes, but penalises you for it, albeit not to a crippling extent (it also makes the Necromancers more than in the standard undead list, which makes sense, seeing as how Lahmians are not massive fans...)

By 4" I presume you mean the serpent whip? Perhaps 2" is more appropriate?

Ackermanus, sorry to hear that. It was an interesting experiment nevertheless, and I trust you'll make up the lost ground soon enough!
